The submission of short abstracts in now closed. The extended abstract should be submitted no later than 20 January 2017. The overall length of the abstract should not exceed three A4 page, and it should be prepared using the template to be provided soon. 

Abstracts must be submitted as a pdf-file and should be mailed to ISSF2017@tue.nl.

Financial support for junior scientists (e.g., waiving the symposium registration fee and covering part of travel costs) can be offered to a number of young researchers (PhD students and postdoctoral researchers) who cannot otherwise attend the symposium. The selection of students and researchers to receive financial assistance is based on a short application letter and a supporting statement by their supervisor, both to be submitted to the conference organizers together before 1 December 2016. Applicants should explain in the letter why they are interested in attending the conference, how it relates to their current research.
